Thabiso Mogashwa a.k.a DJ Skeelo is a Professional DJ who’s worked with industry heavyweights including DJ Blackcoffee, DJ Fresh, DJ Glen Lewis, DJ Kent, DJ Euphonik, DJ Oskido to name a few. He dropped his latest house single under Dv8 Records in December 2021 titled Sekunjalo feat. Ody Flames, produced by the skillful and brilliant One King Tiro. DJ Skeelo has begun taking radio interviews, demonstrating the song’s attraction on radio.

His career started in 2001 when he enrolled at Pretoria University to study B. Com (Business Management). It was then that he started djing from his school residence room using his personal computer.  With DJ Skeelo’s popularity rising on campus, he and his friends organized events and a year later he joined the campus radio station, Tuks FM as a music compiler and entered the TNG Battles of the DJs national competition finishing third out of thirty DJs. The opportunities exposed him to play at various big events.

The combination of his masterful mixing abilities in House, Dance and Kwaito music as well as his unique track selection, make him the powerhouse DJ in the City of Tshwane.

DJ Skeelo released his debut single “Ga wa lebona” to The David Gresham Record Company in April 2011.
